Sam Houston Area Council will be holding job interviews for positions on 2010 Summer Camp Staff this Saturday, Jan 9, at the Council Office. If you are interested in working at Camp this summer, this is your best opportunity to get involved. Troop 424 is a big supporter of Council Summer Camps, and our Troop has provided some strong staffers over the past several years. (You can talk to Tom Huttenhoff, John Huttenhoff, Cody Chachere, Sean Chachere, Stuart Davison or others about their experience on Camp Staff in 2009) For more information, contact Kathy Bozarth in Camping Service to set up an interview time. 713-756-3303 (

). Interviews run from 9:00 to 2:00 this Saturday. If you don't have an interview time, you can show up any time during this period (but I recommend calling first to set a time) You may wish to download and complete the Staff Application before you arrive, to save time while you are downtown at Council Office. Application can be found at: http://www.shac.org/Home/Camping/ElRanchoCima/WalterHorseshoeBend/StaffApplication/Staff%20Application.PDF (Focus on pages 2-5 of the application packet, the rest of the employment forms can wait until after you are offered a position) The other available dates for summer camp interviews will be Jan 30 at the Council Office or Feb 27 at OA Spring Fellowship. If you are interested, I'd encourage you to act NOW, while you have the greatest range of job opportunities available. GOOD LUCK!

Oh, and gigantic waterslides… and obstacle courses… and more! So, grab your mom, dad, dog or crazy uncle, sit down at a laptop near you, and apply now to serve on what will literally be the “coolest” staff at the 2010 National Jamboree! Click here for more info on the cost, and why you should join the Mysterium Compass staff! |
